Job Opening — Visual Storyteller and Instagram Marketer


We're hiring a visual storyteller that can take our Instagram game to the next level.
About the Job

You'll work alongside our founder to create compelling, original visual content for our Instagram page. You will conceptualise and direct, work with photographers to shoot and edit, and write copy to go with the visual content you create, all as part of your responsibility to manage the brand's Instagram account. You'll also be responsible for planning and executing brand's photoshoots and will be the go-to person for all things creative. Above all, you will be required to think like a marketer and come up with ideas to tell the brand's story on Instagram in an authentic and engaging way.

This is an extremely exciting time to join us. We've only been testing the waters so far and are finally ready to dive in the deep end of the pool. We're soon launching our first marketing campaign and there's going to be a ton of fresh work to be done, copy to be written, and content to be created. Importantly, as one of the first people to join the company, you'll have the responsibility and the opportunity to build a consumer brand from scratch.


About You

We're looking for a candidate that lives and breathes marketing and branding. You should have a strong track record of creating original, aesthetic, and compelling visual content and be able to work with a photographer to translate abstract ideas into relatable visuals, whether in the form of photos, videos, or illustrations. To that end, you should be fairly good with the Adobe creative suite.

You love to write, too. You understand that copywriting is marketing. The letters matter as much as the pixels. Great visuals with weak words make for poor content. You should care about how things are phrased as much as you care about how they look.

You're someone with great visual taste and sensibilities that match the brand's clean, calm aesthetic. You're a creative person that can simultaneously think like an artist and a marketer. You take ownership and see things through.

You might have a marketing degree. You might not. That's not what we're looking for. We care about what you can do and how you do it, not about how you got here. A history of conscientious, thoughtful work speaks volumes.
